Questions, answered.

The stuff organizers and attendees actually ask.

For organizers

ConSuite charges one flat per-badge fee — 4.9% plus $1.29 per badge sold, with all credit card processing included. There are no monthly fees, setup fees, or contracts, and free badges cost nothing. You can pass the fee to attendees or absorb it yourself.

ConSuite runs on Stripe Connect. Badge revenue is charged directly to your own Stripe account at purchase time, with the platform fee split out automatically — your money never sits in ConSuite's account. Payouts follow your normal Stripe payout schedule.

Yes, but setup takes about ten minutes. ConSuite walks you through Stripe onboarding when you create your convention, and you can build your schedule, badge tiers, and applications before payments are connected. You just can't sell paid badges until Stripe onboarding is complete.

Issue the refund in Stripe and ConSuite handles the rest: the badge is automatically revoked, inventory is released, and the attendee gets a refund notice by email. Receipts and refund notices are sent automatically for every order.

Yes. You can sell merch and other products in the same cart as badges, sell tickets to specific events like workshops or photo ops, and offer promo codes with usage tracking.

Instead of dawn campouts, attendees enter a drawing for limited slots like autograph sessions. ConSuite runs a fair random draw and shows you the results, so popular signings don't turn into line-management incidents.

Yes. Conventions belong to an organization, and organization members can manage the convention from the admin console. Finer-grained staff roles are on the roadmap.

For attendees

Your badge lives at consuite — open My Badges on your phone and your QR pass is right there. No app download is required; it works in any browser, and you can add it to your home screen for one-tap access.

Yes. Badge transfers are built in: send a claim link from your badge page and your friend picks it up under their own account. The QR code rotates on transfer, so the old badge can't be reused.

No. Show the QR code on your phone at the door and you're in. If your battery dies, staff can look you up by name at check-in.

Refund policies are set by each convention's organizers, so contact them directly — every convention page lists contact information. When a refund is issued, you'll get an email confirmation and the badge is released automatically.

Yes. Every published convention has a full schedule you can browse by day, and you can mark events you're interested in so organizers can plan room sizes. Some events sell tickets — you can buy those right from the schedule.
